Know your Prostate

If you are male and you don’t know about your prostate, you need to get to know. Not only because it’s a super important part of your body that you need to keep healthy and functioning; because it’s the gateway to the most intense and satisfying orgasms you will ever have!

Though I’m sure you have heard of the prostate, you may not know exactly what or where it is, so first things first.

Say hello to your prostate

The prostate is a walnut sized gland located just below the bladder. Its job is to produce the bulk of fluid in semen that helps to protect and nourish sperm and neutralise the vagina during intercourse.

Finding your prostate is not always easy but inserting a finger into the anus and using a come hither motion is a good start. Alternatively, a sex toy designed specifically for prostate stimulation should do the trick.

Why do I need to look after my prostate?

Keeping this gland healthy is vital with regards to having a healthy sex life, as well as preventing illnesses such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis and even prostatic cancer.

By being aware of this important gland and its function you can work to keep it in optimum condition and spot anything unusual that may lead to prostate problems.

Prostate problems

Prostate problems can happen at any age though they are more common in older men. As men age, their prostate gland often enlarges and for two thirds of men over 50 this won’t cause any problem. However, the other third will experience problems.

We’ve listed some below:

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

This is when an enlarged prostate presses on the tube carrying urine from the bladder causing urinary problems.

Is inflammation of the gland and can affect men of all ages. Sometimes this is caused by an infection, other reasons are not yet known.

Prostate Cancer

Every year over 30,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer making it the most common cancer in males in the UK. Approximately 10,000 of those will die from the disease making it the second deadliest form of cancer in males.

Black males are three times more likely to develop the disease in which genes are thought to play a vital role but the cause has not yet been confirmed. Other theories are that diet is to blame. Some researchers believe that a diet high in saturated animal fats and red meat could be responsible and therefore by reducing your intake and eating a diet consisting of more healthy options will lower the risk of prostate cancer developing or spreading.

Age is also a large factor. The older men get the more increased the risk. Infact, many men over 70 will have prostate cancer and never have it diagnosed.

Symptoms to look out for in order to keep your prostate health in check are:

  • Difficulty urinating
  • Needing to urinate more than usual, especially at night time
  • Taking a long time to urinate
  • Pain when urinating
  • Pain during sex
  • Pain in your lower back
  • Blood in your urine

Keeping your prostate healthy

Prostate stimulation/massage has been used for centuries. Not only can it produce intense, multi and full body orgasms; for healthy men it can keep the prostate in good working order. By stimulating the prostate directly you are ensuring that more fluid is released and therefore created, circulation is increased and the prostate is cleansed.

You can stimulate/massage the prostate using a finger or a prostate massager.

However, if you have experienced any of the symptoms above, we do not advise you to stimulate/massage the prostate and see a doctor immediately.

Enjoy bigger and better orgasms

The prostate isn’t referred to as the male G Spot for nothing. Once discovered, this gland can deliver immense pleasure you never thought possible.

Men in the know have described prostate orgasm as the most intense, earth shattering orgasm they have ever had, and once perfected, can lead to multiple and even full body dry orgasms!
