A man from Plympton broke into two of his neighbouring houses and attempted two more to steal sex toys and underwear.
The man was caught leaving the house of one of his victims as she returned from taking her child to school. A search of his home later revealed the intimate stolen items. CCTV footage later showed the man leaving neighbour's houses and discarding items in a bin outside.
In court the defendant claimed he spent his days gambling, drinking and watching pronography and entered the houses aas he was bored and depressed. He was sentenced to 40 sessions over 45 days at the Thames Valley Sexual Offenders Group, as well as alcohol sessions for 10 days. He was also handed prison sentences of up to two years, suspended for two years and will pay charges to the court of £280.
